My dear friend,
I hope that this message reached you safely at the Friendly Arms Inn. It has been some time since I've written, and I apologize for that. I also apologize for the request I'm about to make of you, but I need your help. I have been made the Lady Mayor of the former refugee camp of Haven, and we are searching for adventurers to help reclaim Meredulain, but I have begun to have the visions again... I cannot commit more to parchment, but I need you to come to Haven. I promise a better explanation when you arrive, and I also promise that there will be recompense for your trouble. You are after all, still a mercenary.
My Fondest Affections, Maza
Azaria's Hope: Haven is designed for female characters of 3rd to 4th level, and it is strongly suggested that the character have the ability to wield a longsword.

good luck with this project - i think moduiles built for specific genders/classes can be an interesting approach. And the premise from reading that letter looks cool
BTW, in case you weren;t sure, there is a weapon class called universal longsword, which looks like a sword but can be used by anyone in any class without needing martial weapon proficiency (like the silver sword in the OC) I just saw you were recomending the ability to wield a longsword, so thought I'd mention it in case you had a plot rleevant weapon in mind. Only downside is that weapon focus feats etc do not apply to the universal sword
Thanks for the comments, Wyrin.
Yes, there's a plot specific sword running around, but I want the PC to have the ability to have focus/specialization feats without me having to try turning the system upside down. I may try for a history feat that'll give the same bonuses for at least focus on the weapon in question, but I'm still not exactly sure HOW I'd go about doing that.
